The Beacon of Hope Foundation stands for effective community development. We strive to improve the living conditions of the underprivileged communities within The Gambia by delivering sustainable projects. As a priority, the foundation aims to empower women as they are the catalysts for development in local communities. Beacon of Hope will also initiate programs that promote the education of boys and girls, healthcare, and poverty alleviation.
Materials for Learning
Many educational materials are often out of date. We work with school leaders to ensure that students have access to current textbooks, toys, and sanitary items that are age appropriate.
Water access in rural communities
Constructing water supply systems to provide safe and quality drinking water to the Gambia rural communities. It also contributes to alleviating women’s burden due to water collection.
Health Support for Communities
Our health outreach program provides health equipment to hospitals, clinics, and other specialist health services.
